Target group: Secondary age students - normally year groups 10 & 11
Purpose:
The Surrey Schools Mentoring programme is the planned involvement of adults from the business community who work on a one to one basis with young people in schools. The aim of the programme is to help students fulfill their potential.
A mentor will offer support, guidance and the benefit of their life experiences and become a trusted friend and role model.

| | | | | | |
Mentors meet with their student for approx. 45 minutes once a fortnight during the school day, typically from September through to May. Mentor review meetings take place 3 - 4 times per year. |
| | | | |
Can you help? - we are now recruiting mentors across the whole of Surrey ready to join new programmes. |
