Surrey EBP can provide a range of business-related events and activities to stimulate student understanding in subject areas such as Enterprise, Business Studies and Citizenship. All of these are designed to foster key skills development in:
Future Town – an activity designed to inspire students to think creatively, and to provide them with an opportunity to practice key skills. This exercise is usually run with the whole year group so it can accommodate large numbers of students. Working in groups the students give thought to how their town might look in terms of education, energy,& waste, finances, housing, shopping, sport recreation & leisure transport and working life. During the course of the morning the students work on specific tasks and in the afternoon they present their findings. Business Advisors use their knowledge ands skills, working alongside teachers to assist the student who really value “outside” input.
